Hey guys, so I know this is a little late as we are just under a week into August, but this post is going to be about my favourite things that I have loved in the month of July. I hope you enjoy it!
To start of, the first thing I loved in July was my Bath & Body Works sanitizer.
Bath & Body Works sell the most amazing smelling sanitizers, unlike any normal sanitizer that smells like chemicals and just smells horrible! The ones from Bath & Body Works smell so good and they stock so many different scents. The one that I have which is in the picture is in the scent 'Vanilla berry sorbet'. Unfortunately I bought this one in Florida. As I've just learned, there isn't a Bath & Body Works shop in the UK and they don't ship to the UK which is a bummer! I really wanted to buy a few more of these but of course I realised the only way I could get one is when I next go to America.
I have really been loving this product since when I have been at work I've been serving people on the tills and touching money so it can be very unhygienic! So that is where the sanitizer has come in handy.
The next product in my July Favourites is my body spray from PINK,
Now only recently has a PINK/Victoria's Secret store opened near where I live, so when it opened I went a little crazy and bought loads and loads of things. Personally, I prefer the PINK body sprays rather than the ones from Victoria's Secret. I think this because I prefer more sweeter/fruitier scents, the ones from Victoria's Secret are sweet but can be quite sickly. Whereas the ones from PINK smell fresh and make you smell so good! The one shown above is in the scent 'Wild & Breezy, Red Guava and Passion Flower'. It smells absolutely delicious! Also, I should say that when I went out for my meal with my friends I took this spray with me just in case I needed to freshen up. If you would like to read that blog post the link is
here.
This spray would be good for anytime of the day and just makes you feel fresh and smell great!
For my make up favourites in July, the first thing I really was loving is this,
This is a Kohl eye liner from Rimmel London. This was kind of a random buy because I used to wear kohl liner when I was younger but then I kind of grew out of it. That happened when I discovered the new 'it' thing was having eye liner on the top of your eye! Surprisingly, I have been really enjoying wearing this on my water line just at the outer corner. I feel it gives more definition to my eye and makes it stand out.
My next make up favourite is this,
This is a Revlon Colourbust matte balm in the colour '245 Audacious'. This colour is a very vibrant orange colour. Now as you know I mainly stick to my dark/bright pinks on my lips. However, I have been seeing a lot of people wearing different tones of orange on their lips and they all look so good! I went shopping with my best friend and found this colour in Boots and really really wanted it. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of money on me to buy this product so I had to leave it behind. In July, it was my birthday and I was so excited to find my best friend had taken a note of this chubby stick and for my birthday, bought it for me! I was so grateful and have loved every second of using this colour!
When applied, I tend to very gently use my finger to rub this product across my lips just to make it not look so bright and to blend it in.
Now onto my film, TV and book favourites.
For films, in the month of July I have been obsessed with the Lizzie McGuire movie!
I also got bought this for my birthday and watched it straight away, as I have mentioned before I am going on holiday to Italy with my best friend and her family in just 2 days! In this film, Lizzie McGuire goes on a school trip to Rome. I really loved this film because I knew I was going to Rome for the day and wanted to see what was there. Me and my friend Anna watched this together and got ridiculously excited for when we go there. This film is genuinely amazing and fun and would advise anyone to watch it if they are also going to Rome!
My favourite book in July was this,
I heart Vegas by Lindsey Kelk is so far a great book! I haven't actually finished it yet but I will be definitely taking it with me to Italy. I won't give too much away but Angela Clark (the main character) finds herself in some trouble and is risking leaving her boyfriend! That is what I have gathered so far from the book but I can confidently say I cannot wait to start up reading it again.
The last favourite of July is a series on Netflix called 'Orange is the New Black'. I don't actually have Netflix but my friend Anna does and when I've been at her house I have made her let me watch it on her TV. Orange is the New Black is so crazy and weird that you just have to love it and continue watching it. I would not recommend people under the age of 15 watching it as there is a lot of adult scenes etc. However, it really is funny and great to watch!
That guys is the end of my July Favourites I hope you enjoyed reading about everything that I have loved last month!
